The City of Albany will accept bids on Oct. 2, 2012 for a heavy construction project involving demolition work, precast storm manholes and inlets, storm pipes, concrete sidewalk with pavers, lighting and other related items of work. All work must be performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and other contract documents prepared by the City’s Engineering Department. The City of Albany is seeking bids on two contracts. Bids for janitorial supplies are due on Apr. 30, 2012, and bids are due for a window and door replacement project on May 1, 2012.
Bids for the janitorial and industrial supplies are for a six month, firm price contract, with three options to renew for additional six month periods.
The other project involves bids to replace windows and doors at the WPC, Building P-1, located at 2726 Joshua Street. A pre-bid conference is being held on Apr. 11 at 10:00 a.m. for this project.
